Founded by brothers and professional guides Greg and Trevor, G & T Wild was born from a lifelong passion for wilderness, wildlife conservation, and exploration. With more than 40 years of combined experience guiding throughout Southern Africa, East Africa, and India, our lives have been shaped by countless days spent tracking predators across remote landscapes and witnessing extraordinary wildlife encounters. Over decades, we have explored some of the most iconic and wild destinations on earth. These experiences have given us not only a deep understanding of wildlife and wilderness but also an appreciation for what makes a truly exceptional safari. We believe that the greatest safaris are those that tell a story... stories of adventure, discovery, and meaningful connections with nature.  With over 25 years of experience in the luxury lodge and safari industry, I’ve dedicated my life to leading safaris and guiding guests into the heart of wild places. As the co-founder of G & T Wild, my mission is to take you beyond the standard tourist tracks through deeply immersive, masterfully planned mobile safaris, with a strong emphasis on wildlife conservation. While my background is rooted in high-end hospitality at various lodges, my true calling lies in the field. I’ve been fortunate to develop a unique, almost intuitive gift for tracking and reading large predators, allowing me to find and understand the subtle behaviors of Africa's big cats when others might miss them entirely. But for me, the magic of the encounter relies entirely on respect; I pride myself on an approach that honors the animals' space and welfare above all else, ensuring our presence is never disruptive. I have been blessed to reap the rewards with many once-in-a-lifetime experiences throughout my career. By blending this deep, respectful understanding of wildlife with a passion for high-contrast, cinematic photography, I believe that a safari isn't just a trip... it's a story. Trevor McCall-Peat - Founder, Director & Expedition Leader.

Coming with 18 years of deeply immersive experience guiding across Africa’s most iconic wildernesses including South Africa, Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zimbabwe, as well as the jungles of India, my life has been entirely dedicated to the raw heart of the bush. As a professional safari guide, wildlife photographer, and co-founder of G & T Wild, I specialize in crafting bespoke, masterfully curated journeys for fellow nature lovers, with a strong emphasis on wildlife conservation. Whether I'm tracking elusive leopards, sharing my passion for endemic birdlife, or helping you find the perfect position to capture a bucket-list photograph, my goal is to transform a standard safari into a profound, life-changing experience. As I prepare for launching some exciting new adventures, I combine a lifetime of bushcraft with flawless logistical precision behind the scenes, managing every detail so you can step away from the modern world and truly immerse yourself in the untamed magic of the wild.
